Honda introduces Cruiser CB1100 RS 2022 with classic design and modern technology
Honda has always been at the forefront of designing motorcycles that blend classic looks with modern technology, and the latest addition to its cruiser line, the CB1100 RS 2022, is no exception. With a design reminiscent of the golden age of motorcycles, CB1100 RS 2022 is integrated with a series of modern features that bring a sense of pleasure to the wheel. In this article, we will take a closer look at what makes the 2022 CB1100 RS such an outstanding motorcycle.

Classic design with a modern twist

The Cruiser CB1100 RS 2022 is inspired by classic Honda motorcycles from the 1970s, but it is far from a simple replica. The bike’s steel frame and twin rear shock absorbers provide a timeless look, while a modern inverted front fork provides outstanding handling. The fuel tank is finished in glossy metal, while the saddle and side panels are made of high-quality materials that give the bike a premium feel.

A powerful engine of Cruiser CB1100 RS

Underneath the classic look, Cruiser CB1100 RS 2022 has a powerful engine that provides smooth, easy operation. The bike is powered by a 1,140cc, air-cooled, in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces 88 horsepower and 67 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission for precise and smooth shifting.

Modern technology of Cruiser CB1100 RS

Despite its classic appearance, Cruiser CB1100 RS 2022 is equipped with a series of modern features, creating a sense of pleasure when driving. The car comes with a digital dashboard that displays all the necessary information including speed, fuel level and gear position. It also has a USB charging port so you can charge your smartphone or other devices while on the go.

The Cruiser CB1100 RS 2022 also comes with Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which helps maintain traction and stability in slippery conditions. The system can be turned on or off, depending on the driver’s preference.

Comfortable ride of Cruiser CB1100 RS

Cruiser CB1100 RS 2022 is designed for rider comfort. The saddle is wide and well padded, providing great support for long rides. The handlebars are positioned for a comfortable riding position and the footrests are adjustable, allowing riders of different sizes to find their ideal riding position.

Despite its slightly retro design, the Cruiser CB1100 RS is still not enough to satisfy loyal customers with the classic nakedbike models of the Japanese automaker. So the Honda CB1100 RS is here to fill that void.

More specifically, Cruiser CB1100 RS has just been brought to Vietnam by Motorrock in the Final Edition – the last variant before this model was killed globally.

Honda CB1100 RS Final Edition – the end of a legend

The Cruiser CB1100 RS series was introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, inspired by the 1969 CB750 Four. Currently, the CB1100 is Honda’s second high-end classic nakedbike line, after the CB1300 Super Four.

However, the CB1100’s air-cooled 1,100 cc engine gradually failed to meet increasingly stringent emissions standards. Therefore, Honda decided to stop producing CB1100, including 2 lines, CB1100 RS and CB1100 EX.

To mark the milestone of the last CB1100s produced, Honda decided to launch a Final Edition version, for both CB1100 RS and CB1100 EX. In particular, CB1100 RS Final Edition was launched at the end of October 2021 in Taiwan, instead of Japan.

Honda produces 800 units of CB1100 RS Final Edition for the world. This model has 2 colors: Matte Jeans Blue Metallic and Magna Red.
