The distributor Ducati in Vietnam has just launched the new generation of large-sized adventure Multistrada, the car is imported directly in Thailand. This is Ducati’s next model using the company’s latest generation of V4 engine with many driving support features like a car.
Specifically, the Ducati Multistrada V4 2021 model in Vietnam will be sold for 770 million VND, the Multistrada V4 S spokes version will have a list price of 899 million VND, the V4 S cast rim version will cost 927 million VND. This is Ducati’s next model using the company’s latest generation of V4 engine with many driving support features like a car.
With the DNA of the dusty ADV line, the Ducati Multistrada V4 2021 model has a tall design, Italian and familiar design language of the Multistrada line.
Prominent on the front of the car is a pair of headlights with LED positioning lights, right below is a cavity containing the front radar sensor in charge of detecting vehicles ahead and supporting adaptive cruise monitoring, while Rear radar sensors are located below the taillights to monitor blind spots.
Multistrada is built on a tubular steel grid platform. The front suspension is inverted and adjustable. Seat height 840-860 mm, depending on the level of adjustment of the user. Wet car weight at 240 kg. Fuel tank capacity 22 liters.
Ducati’s model installs dual disc brakes on the front wheel and a single disc on the rear wheel. A 5-inch TFT color screen between the handlebars is standard equipment. Multistrada is the first model in the world to use front and rear radar systems to detect blind spots, measure distances, and serve adaptive cruise control (automatic throttle), a type of equipment usually available on car.
The common point between the Ducati Multistrada V4 and the Multistrada V4 S is the Granturismo V4 engine block with 4 cylinders, 1,158cc capacity, liquid-cooled, producing 170 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and extreme torque. 125 Nm at 8,750 rpm.
Complementing the driver is a series of safety features on Ducati Multistrada such as ABS when cornering, IMU inertia measurement sensor, traction control, and loading control. The V4 and V4 S versions have a similar design, different in the accompanying equipment. The V4 S version has an electronically adjustable fork, a 330 mm front brake disc (10 mm larger than the regular version), a 6.5-inch screen, a quick gearshift system, cornering headlights, cruise control adaptation, multimedia connectivity and mapping.
